Matthew Mlynarczyk, Senior Counselor
Since 1989, Matt Mlynarczyk has developed and managed numerous public affairs, government relations, and issues management programs. He has considerable experience providing strategic communications support to Federal government agencies and trade and membership associations throughout the United States. Matt has worked on various critical infrastructure/key resource-related outreach and awareness initiatives at the Department of Homeland Security, including a highly-successful trade association roundtable at the October 2005 National Infrastructure Advisory Council meeting. He also managed campaign operations for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ 2005/2006 Medicare Rx Prescription Drug Benefit outreach and awareness tour.
Matt is particularly familiar with Washington’s unique trade association landscape and has cultivated considerable key relationships with trade association leadership across all industry sectors. He has an exceptional ability to identify diverse stakeholders’ mutual issues of importance, and then direct these organizations to work together toward a common goal. His coalition building, government relations and association management experience are vital in the process of “cross-pollinating” the private and public sectors.
