CXO Media Inc. Executive Policy Forum™ Series
The Challenge
At a time when America needed it most, Nahigian Strategies was retained by CXO Media, Inc. to develop and produce a series of policy events designed to foster innovative ideas to help protect America’s critical infrastructure.
The Strategy
The end result was the CXO Executive Policy Forum™ series, a high-level policy series that was produced in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office (one of the 22 agencies that were integrated into the U.S. Department of Homeland Security).
This series of hard-hitting policy events assembled hundreds of CEOs, CIOs, and senior security leaders from the public and private sectors to stimulate innovative thought, highlight real-world best practices, and facilitate important dialogue on how to better protect America’s critical infrastructure. In order to engage participants in an open, lively dialogue, Nahigian Strategies designed a “talk show style” set where speakers could intimately convey personal stories and shared lessons learned before a live in-studio audience.
Nahigian Strategies helped secure many high-profile speakers for these events, including National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice (her first public speech after being confirmed), former Bush Administration cybersecurity czar Richard Clarke, Senator Robert Bennett, Harvard Law Professor and TV personality Arthur R. Miller, and CNN anchor Lou Dobbs.
The Results
The CXO Executive Policy Forum™ series was a great success and during its four-year span was covered by such highly-regarded media as The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, ABC World News Tonight, the Associated Press, BusinessWeek.com, C-SPAN, National Public Radio, Reuters and The Washington Times.
